Pass on the Gas with These Nifty Tips to Save Money at the Pump
The price for gas is going up, up, up! I put my thinking cap on and came up with a few solutions to help you minimize your spending on fossil fuels.
One of the easiest things to do to reduce gas usage is to avoid using your car all together. Try to walk or bike to places if you can. If you are super cool you can even e-scooter or e-bike to work or the grocery store. Check out my guide on e-bikes if you are ready to make the switch to electric.
Another option if possible would be to work from home. There is literally no commute which means no driving and no money spent on gas.
If you can’t work from home why not skip driving out to lunch and eat a homemade meal. Bring your scrumptious left overs to work to enjoy in a reusable container.
Lastly, you can adjust your driving habits. Combine trips instead of making multiple outings. Also, if you don’t drive like a speed demon your car will get better gas milage.
